Create an account

1. Open the sign-up page and enter your email address. Complete the check.
2. Open the confirmation email. The link is valid for 24 hours.
3. Choose a password of at least 8 characters.
4. After confirmation your first key is issued.

If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder. Use "Resend" on the sign-up page. Requests are rate-limited, so wait a few minutes between attempts.

Get a key

You can get a key for free on the website, in Ratatosk, or through the Telegram bot.

Keys

• One key works on every ShortNerdCat platform.
• The app shows the key partially masked and does not write it to regular diagnostic logs.
• Do not publish your key or give it to anyone. If it is lost or compromised, it can be replaced.
• Logout removes the key from the device.

Password reset

Use "Forgot password" on the sign-in page. The reset link is valid for 1 hour.
