ShortNerdCat for Windows

Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit.

Install

1. Download ShortNerdCat from the download page.
2. Run the installer.

First start and key

On first start, paste your key into the key panel and activate it, or sign in with email and password. After activation, press Connect.

Tray menu

ShortNerdCat runs in the system tray and starts when you sign in to Windows. The tray menu contains:

• Open ShortNerdCat — opens the main window.
• Connect / Disconnect.
• Region — choose a region, or Auto. Available after you sign in.
• Wildcat — explains what Wildcat is and links to its download. See WildCat.
• Language.
• Update available — appears when a new version is ready.
• Logout and Quit.

Status

The tray tooltip shows the state: Connecting, Connected, Disconnecting, Connection lost, Login error, or not logged in.
