WildCat

WildCat is a separate Android app for networks with whitelists. It is used when whitelists are enabled and all other mechanisms are blocked, including the IP addresses of the core network and the channels between users.

Before you start

WildCat uses the same email and password as your Tunnel Cat account.

Connect

  1. Sign in with your email and password.
  2. Tap Connect. The status shows the stages: Connecting, Establishing secure tunnel, Joining relay session, Negotiating network path, Almost there.
  3. Tap Disconnect to stop.

Emergency QR code

The WildCat page at tunnelcat.navlink.net/wildcat.html shows a QR code. In the app, open Read QR code and point the camera at the code. The app adds the connection links from the code. Scanning works without an internet connection. On success the app shows "Added N link(s) — try connecting now".

Menu

  • Logout removes your saved email and password from this device.

If the sign-in service is reachable from your device

The app asks "Is this really necessary?" and suggests the regular client at apps.navlink.net. You can choose Go back, or Continue anyway.
